Every day more and more research uncovers the symptoms and diseases that directly or indirectly stem from food, even when it comes to food that is in good condition or that has a reputation for being healthy.
We have reached such a point that foods that are widely believed to be adequate for good health can become, for some people, great simulators of diseases or a source of symptoms of various ailments, such as these detailed below:
Digestive problems
Bloating, gases, heavy digestions, trouble swallowing, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, a burning sensation, constipation, functional dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, cyclic vomits, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease (colitis ulcerosa, E. de Crohn) or autoimmune hepatitis.
Cutaneous.
Itchiness (pruritus), dry skin, atopic or non-specific dermatitis, excema, rashes, non-hereditary angioedema, haematomas or sudden appearance of small pinpoint red marks on the skin (petechiae), dermographism.
Mucus.
Aphthas, glossitis, dry mouth, hypersalivation…

Muscle aches, fibromyalgia, frequent contractures, back and bone pain, arthritis without a known cause, osteoporosis, lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, spontaneous fractures, dolores de espalda y óseos, artritis no filiada, osteoporosis, lupus eritematoso, esclerosis sistémica, fracturas espontaneas, carpal tunnel syndrome, trismus.
Neurologic.
Headaches, forgetfulness, Dolor de cabeza, olvidos frecuentes, foggy brain, vertigo (dizziness), restless legs, behavioural changes, neurological diseases (multiple sclerosis, Parkinson disease, ataxia, periferic neorpathy) that affect memory and cognition (ADHD or hyperactivity, Alzheimer disease, autism, schizophrenia, etc.)

Respiratory.

Uro-genital.
Pelvic or testicular pain, urethritis or cystitis, painful menstruation periods, amenorrhea, abortions, infertilities, ovarian cysts, etc.
Optical.
Swollen eyelids, eyesight problems (myopia, hyperopia…).
Haematological.
Leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, lymphopenia or autoimmune anemia, thrombocytosis, changes in blood clotting.
Endocrinologic.
Obesity, weight loss, thyroiditis.
Miscellaneous
Chronic energy depletion, Central Sensitivity Syndrome, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome or Electromagnetism Syndome, among many others.
Currently it is possible to detect and identifying foods related to diseases that may be affecting your health, which can help you improve your quality of life, symptoms, diseases and, on many occasions, cure and achieve full recovery.
To accomplish this goal, you may need a personalized diet, adjustable over time, in order to not create nutritional deficiency problems.
